Solo Options
Sometimes when playing GTA Online, you just have enough time to get some things done yourself, whether it's a quick heist prep or a race. I'll list out a few options that you can refer to when looking for something to do on your own.
Heist Prep
When you want to spend a few minutes just knocking out one of the missions to set up your next big heist, but you don't want to be bothered by any other players in the lobby, just start up a private session. To do this, you must select "Leave GTA Online" from the Online section of the options menu and go to the one player game. From there, you can go back to the Online options menu and select "Play GTA Online" and then pick basically any other one except for "Go," that one will just put you back into a public server.
Note: You can do Heist Prep missions in a private lobby.
CEO / Club Work
Just like if you were to do this with a group of friends, you can take on this task yourself. You can find these options in your Interaction Menu after you've registered as a CEO or President. However, I would recommend having a flying vehicle with weapons like a Buzzard helicopter. Some targets could be placed all around the map. However, if you do some Headhunter or Sightseer missions, you can earn yourself a decent amount of money.
Freemode Challenges
Occasionally there will be a lobby-wide challenge that you can participate in. This can be stealing the most cars, falling the furthest distance before opening a parachute, etc. It's completely random, and a quick way to earn a little bit of cash.
Daily Objectives
Check your Objectives every day in your Interaction Menu because they change daily and will reward you with a quick $30,000.
Contact Missions
Also referred to as "Dispatch Missions." You can find these located in your in-game phone under "Play Quick Job." Look for "Contact Missions" and then you can throw yourself into a lobby queue. These are fast missions that are less than 10 minutes long, each earning you a decent amount of money.
Races
Also in your "Play Quick Job" list, you can find races or Stunt Series. These can be a lot of fun and only take a few minutes to complete. However, if you don't finish it, you don't get any rewards. So, play it only if you are trying to get the 50 turbo starts to unlock some customization at Los Santos, or if you don't care about the rewards.
Collectibles
There are tons of collectibles hidden around Los Santos and finding all of them will give you unique rewards. Check out the Collections section of this guide for links to all the locations, and the descriptions of the rewards.
Import / Export
You can also go and do some of your Import / Export missions from the laptop in your Organization Office or the Warehouses associated with it. They are pretty quick, and depending on the mission, you could be rewarded up to $100,000 for 5 minutes of selling a Top-End vehicle.
Business Management
You can choose to steal some supplies to stock up your businesses, or if you are confident enough that you will only get one vehicle, you can choose to sell that product as well.
