Heists

Heists
One of the biggest attractions of GTA Online is preparing for and running big heists. The total payout (before being distributed to the team and other players that run the heist with you,) can be up to almost $3,500,000. Owning different properties or running certain businesses will allow you to beginning working towards that big paycheck. As some added incentive, there are one-time rewards that you can earn while participating in heists.

First Time
Completing each Heist Finale for the first time will give you extra money at the end with your reward.

All In Order Challenge
Complete all Heists in order, including Setups, to receive a $1,000,000 reward.

Loyalty Challenge
Complete all Heists, including Setups, with the same team of players to receive an additional $1,000,000 bonus.

Criminal Mastermind Challenge
Complete all Heists, in order, with the same group of players, without losing any lives, to receive a massive $10,000,000 bonus.

As you can see, having a dedicated team that works well together and communicates clearly can earn you all some nice rewards.

Online Heists
These are the easiest ones to get ready for. All you must do is go to the Maze Bank Foreclosures and purchase a High-End Apartment from the Dynasty 8 site. Once you have that, head there and locate the heist prep room. There will be a desk that should allow you to join a queue for a quick heist as either a host or as a player. Your own individual progress will not carry over if you queue up as a player, so make sure you are ready to do them as a host.

The heists in order are as follows:

-The Fleeca Job (2 Setup Missions)
-The Prison Break (4 Setup Missions)
-The Humane Labs Raid (5 Setup Missions)
-Series A Funding (5 Setup Missions)
-The Pacific Standard Job (5 Setup Missions)

The Fleeca Job is the "tutorial" heist and can be done with two players. You will do two setup missions before the heist itself, and you will earn a discount price on the Armored Karuma vehicle upon completion.

All of the heists after Fleeca will require up to four players because they will need to play certain roles in each of the missions. For example, the Prison Break heist will require two players to break into the prison, a third player to eliminate a prison bus that is expected to make a stop at the prison, and the final player will be the getaway plane. So make sure you come in to these missions prepared with a good team and communication.

Like the Armored Karuma, you will earn various discount prices on multiple vehicles throughout the entirety of the heists, including the Diamond Casino and Doomsday.

Doomsday Heist
This heist is so long that it's broken up into three different "Acts." During the entirety of this mini campaign, you will use certain vehicles that will later become discounted in the store menus on your in-game cell phone.

To open this heist, you first need to purchase a Facility from Maze Bank Foreclosures website. I recommend the Route 68 facility because it's right in the center of the map, and next to all of the motorcycle businesses. Once you have that, you can head there to initiate a cut-scene that will explain the Facility to you. Then, you are good to go.

I am not even going to bother getting into describing anything about this entire heist because of how lengthy it is. So, instead, I will link you to a guide that will.

Diamond Casino Heist
Once you earn enough money to get yourself an Arcade, Lester will begin sending you out on missions to start your preparations to hit the Casino vault. There are quite a few missions that you must do that could admittedly feel tedious, but once you get to the heist itself, the payoff is worth all the hassle.

When planning, you will notice that there are three different methods of entry to choose from. Aggressive, Silent and Sneaky, or the "Big Con." If done properly, you should be able to get a decent haul no matter how you approach it.

For this heist, you want to choose the cheapest hired help that you can, because none of them really do anything. Except for the hacker. This one is crucial, and I recommend picking the best one that you have available to you because they are what determines the amount of time you have in the vault.

The other big thing to know about the prep work is the contents of the vault. There can be one of four types of things being stored at a time, and each time you run the heist it will change. Cash, Paintings, Gold, and Diamonds. If you are lucky enough to get diamonds as the supply, you want to make sure you bring your A-Game because the payout could be over $3,500,000 if all goes well.

I am not going to explain every single step of the heist or the prep work needed to get there, but I will link these guides for each that will explain most of that for you. I recommend reading up on all three approaches and getting some idea for what you are signing up for. Then, when you think you are ready, get some patient friends to come along with you, because you could potentially get in and get out, or spend a bunch of time locating the best route to follow once inside.

Maximum Payout and Other Information

Note: Once you run the heist using one approach, you will not be able to go in the same way again. You will have to do the prep work and planning for one of the other two ways in. Also, after you complete the second Casino Heist, you will open the option to do the first approach again, however it will still be "too soon," making this the Hard Mode option. This is because the game wants you to run them in sets of three, and not back and forth between the same two approaches.

Casino Heist Recommendations
Again, I will not go through all of the steps that you must take to get the heist ready, but I will quickly list which Prep Missions you should worry about doing, and if you can do them solo or not. I will put the approaches in order of difficulty, and if one of the options isn't listed, that means that it's unnecessary for you to obtain it as it's optional.

Before you select your approach, Lester will have you scope out the casino (which you only ever have to do once,) and then also check the vault contents. This will tell you what you will be stealing. Once you finish that, you will be able to select your approach.

The Big Con
When done properly, this can be the quickest, and most rewarding of any approach. For the prep work, this is what I would recommend for the easiest time in the casino.

-Gunman: Poor 5%
-Driver: Poor 5%
-Hacker: Best Available
-Weapons: Micro SMG (2 People)
-Vehicles: Sentinel Classic (2 People)
-Entry Disguise: Gruppe Sechs (2 People)
-Exit Disguise: Noose Gear (2 People)
-Vault Drills (2 People)
-Power Drills (Solo)
-Hacking Device (Solo)

-Exit Route Staff Lobby
-Buyer: High Level
-Entry Disguise: Gruppe Sechs

Aggressive Approach
This one is exactly what it sounds like. You go in with guns blazing and shoot your way in and out of the casino. It's fast, and you don't have as much time in the vault as the other approaches, but it's good for groups that have players with a trigger finger.
